FAQ
Have Questions?
Here are some of the most frequently asked questions about preparing and filing your BIR taxes.
It is the process of submitting your business’ tax returns and necessary attachments to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) in compliance with Philippine tax regulations. This ensures that your business remains compliant and avoids penalties.
It varies depending on your business’ tax type and classification indicated in your Certificate of Registration (COR). It’s essential to stay updated on your specific filing schedule to avoid penalties.
When you file using EBIR or EFPS, there will be a BIR Confirmation sent to your email which is a necessary attachment in paying your taxes in a BIR RDO accredited bank.
You can go to your BIR RDO where your business is registered and ask for a Case Monitoring System. It contains a report that indicates your penalties and open cases.
You should go to your BIR RDO and ask for a computation of penalties to Officer of the Day.
Since BIR is adapting to “Ease of Paying Taxes” (EOPT), you can now file your taxes online using EBIR Forms or EFPS.
